- anti-spam laws;

- industry-specific requirements.
Customers must ensure that their use of Acitinar information has an appropriate legal basis.
5. Prohibited Activities
Customers must not use the Platform for any activity that:
- violates applicable laws;
- infringes third-party rights;
- harms individuals or organisations;
- damages Acitinar's reputation;
- compromises Platform security.
6. Spam and Unlawful Outreach
Customers must not use Acitinar to:
- send unlawful bulk communications;
- conduct spam campaigns;
- bypass marketing consent requirements;
- send misleading communications;
- impersonate another organisation;
- engage in deceptive sales practices.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all outreach activities comply with applicable marketing and privacy laws.
7. Harassment and Harmful Behaviour
Customers must not use information obtained through Acitinar to:
- harass individuals;
- intimidate individuals;
- repeatedly contact individuals who have requested no further contact;
- target individuals for harmful purposes.
8. Unlawful Profiling and Automated Decisions
Customers must not use Acitinar to:
- make automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects;
- determine eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, housing, or other regulated decisions without appropriate legal safeguards;
- create unlawful personal profiles.
Acitinar is designed to provide business intelligence and decision-support information.
9. Data Protection Obligations
Customers must:
- process information lawfully;
- respect individual privacy rights;
- provide appropriate notices where required;
- maintain appropriate records of processing;
- comply with applicable data protection obligations.
Acitinar is not responsible for unlawful processing carried out by customers.
10. Scraping and Data Extraction
Customers must not:
- scrape Acitinar data;
- use automated extraction tools;
- systematically copy Platform information;
- create external databases from Acitinar data;
- extract information beyond permitted functionality.
This restriction protects Acitinar's:
- databases;
- methodologies;
- commercial intelligence models;
- intellectual property.
11. Reverse Engineering and Competitive Misuse
Customers must not:
- reverse engineer the Platform;
- attempt to discover source code;
- analyse underlying algorithms;
- replicate Business Signal methodologies;
- build competing products using Acitinar.
Customers must not use Acitinar access to:
- benchmark the Platform for competitive purposes;
- copy features or workflows;
- develop competing services.
12. Artificial Intelligence Restrictions
Customers must not use Acitinar:
- to train competing AI systems;
- to create commercial datasets from Platform outputs;
- to extract proprietary AI methodologies;
- to circumvent AI safeguards;
- to generate unlawful content.
Customers acknowledge that AI-generated outputs require appropriate human review.
13. Security Restrictions
Customers must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access;
- bypass authentication controls;
- introduce malicious software;
- interfere with Platform operation;
- test vulnerabilities without written permission;
- disrupt availability for other users.
14. Account Sharing
Customers must not:
- share account credentials with unauthorised individuals;
- allow third parties to access the Platform without permission;
- create accounts to avoid subscription restrictions.
Customers are responsible for activity performed through their accounts.
15. Intellectual Property Protection
Customers must respect Acitinar's intellectual property rights.
The following remain owned exclusively by Acitinar:
- software;
- algorithms;
- databases;
- Business Signal models;
- analytical frameworks;
- documentation;
- trademarks;
- Platform design.
Use of the Platform does not grant ownership rights.
16. Monitoring and Enforcement
Acitinar may monitor Platform usage to:
- maintain security;
- prevent abuse;
- investigate violations;
- improve reliability.
Where we reasonably believe a violation has occurred, we may:
- investigate activity;
- request additional information;
- restrict access;
- suspend accounts;
- terminate Services.
17. Suspension and Termination Rights
Acitinar may immediately suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect:
- legal compliance;
- Platform security;
- other customers;
- individuals;
- Acitinar's reputation.
Examples include:
- unlawful use;
- misuse of data;
- security threats;
- fraudulent activity;
